ROSS PERSICHETTI
Ross Persichetti is a fine artist specializing in drawing and painting. His mediums of choice are acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and ink. While most of his work is up for interpretation, he likes to include human characters, animals, and nature to invoke a human connection and emotion with the viewer. His stylized strokes and rich vibrant colors are visually stunning.
Ross was born in 1983 and raised in the Suburbs of Pittsburgh. He attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. After graduating from Central he studied art at the Community College of Allegheny county earning an Associates Degree. His passion for drawing and painting eventually led him to California university of Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
He is Inspired by artists such as Frank Frazzetta, Gregory Hergert, and Norman Rockwell. He hopes to one day be acknowledged as one of the great artists to come out of Pittsburgh.
Ross has been consistently creating
Art since he was a child and continues to draw and paint daily while working as a union sewage worker and raising his family. He says that his art is a life long pursuit and he is just getting started. He enjoys the challenge of learning new techniques and creating original content while naturally creating his own unique look. His ultimate goal is to make people who see his work feel some sort of emotion.
